Frequently asked questions about liquid spraying

“Why small spray nozzles block when applying molasses.”

“How much oil distribution uniformity affects product quality.”

“Three hidden costs of compressed-air spray systems.”

“What happens when waxes cool inside spray lines.”

“Why larger nozzle diameters reduce maintenance costs.”

From the manufacturers own website; The use of the motorised sprayer’s series SMOG allows the spraying of any type of liquid at any viscosity into the mixer without excessive energy consumption.
Thanks to the injection nozzle of 11 mm the sprayer avoids blockages and dirtiness. The nebulization occurs by centrifugal spinning of the injection chamber that forms small droplets of the liquids. Once the liquids reaches the outlet of the sprayer, it combines with the air supplied through the blower and forms a fog effect. With this system, high pressure is not required or the use of filters, maintenance is reduced and the quality of the spraying/mixing will improve. Using the SMOG motorized sprayer, it is possible simultaneously to nebulise various liquids such as oil, fats, water, molasses, glucose, flavours, waxes and resins.
