NDA Supply chain event 2025

On Thursday 16th January 2025. Our sampling expert Neil Finney will be in attendance at the NDA supply chain event at The International Centre, Telford, Shropshire (exhibition Stand T1).
This event is the biggest networking event in Europe for nuclear decommissioning.
The NDA group supply chain event is organised by the industry for the industry. The 2022 event attracted around 1700 attendees, providing opportunities to network with more than 300 exhibiting companies. With a focus on SMEs, the aim of the event is to attract new business to the nuclear decommissioning sector.
If you have registered to attend the NDA Supply chain event as a delegate or as an exhibitor then it will be great to see you there. Lets have a chat (add our Neil Finney on LinkedIn to connect prior to the event!), it will be great to understand your interest in this event. Also it will be your opportunity to see our Dopak sampling systems which are used for the safe emission free sampling of potentially hazardous liquids and gases.
Derwent James Ltd are the Exclusive UK representatives for Dopak sampling systems.
A Dopak sampling system connects directly to your existing process pipeline or tank. Sampling can then be done without emissions or spills. The installation design of the sampling systems means you get a representative sample of the process every time. Correct material selection ensures the sampling system is compatible with the process.
The sampling system can use many types and sizes of container. cylinder or bottle to collect the sample. With your process data we can design the correct system for you.
When sampling using a closed loop sampling technique all product is contained and no product escapes in an uncontrolled manner all product handled is either returned to the process or vented in a controlled manner.
A correctly specified sampling system will ensure:
- Less product waste
- Less waste treatment costs
- Safer sampling for the operator
- Safer plant operations
- Less environmental pollution
An effective closed loop chemical sampling system should:
- Be safe and simple to operate
- Be representative
- Minimize pollution and contamination
- Be available for both pipeline and vessel sampling
- Be suitable for a wide range of process pressure and temperature characteristics
