Hazardous chemical industrial sampling systems from Dopak are installed worldwide in all sectors of the process industry and these can be installed to a pipeline or to a tank. The sampling connection in oil and gas applications can be very similar to connections in petrochemical, chemical or even pharmaceutical applications.  We have standard connections available to suit all industrial sampling applications.

With a Dopak sampling system you can take a hazardous flowing liquid sample safely and cleanly with no spills using our septum sealed sample bottles. Below are details of types of sampling in analytical chemistry from Dopak, take a look and get in touch for datasheets, price and delivery details;

2. HAZARDOUS GAS SAMPLING SYSTEMSIndustrial Sampling

Gas sampling systems with externally coupled valves (gearbox) to take representative samples of gases in sample cylinders. The Dopak S32-G type samplers are built from high quality stainless steel 316. Installation is using threaded connections, compression fittings or flanges.

Easy to use systems with one handle operation providing optimum safety for the operator and the environment. The Dopak S32-LG type samplers are supplied as standard with a manual handle but a spring return handle is a possible option and improves operator and process safety. Purge options are again available.

3. SAMPLING BOTTLES AND CYLINDERSIndustrial Sampling

We have an extensive range of chemical sample cylinders and they are suited for collecting samples of hazardous gases.  Our cylinders are perfect for safe transport and chromatographic laboratory analysis. The type of chemical sample cylinder we offer are available in different volumes and material of construction.

Chemical sample cylinders are used for samples with high vapour phase, gas and liquefied gas and are equipped with a needle valve on each side of the double ended sample cylinder along with a set of quick connect couplings and also a carrying handle.

A outage tube can also be included depending on the type of sampling application in which the cylinders are to be used. Additionally cylinder or bypass lines can be fitted onto the sample cylinder and overpressure protection devices such as a relief valve or a rupture disc.

External cylinder surfaces can be glass coated or coated with PTFE to provide a nonstick surface, which aids in cylinder cleaning.

4. SAMPLE BOTTLE EMPTYING SYSTEMSIndustrial Sampling

So, you take a chemical sample.  You have analyzed it in the laboratory, now what?  How to dispose of the sample in a way that is safe for the environment and safe for the operator.  Well, why not just return it to the process where it came from. Using the superb Liquid sample recovery system from Dopak

This great solution is available from the guys at Dopak with their liquid sample recovery system.

The Dopak SRS offers the ability to recover a liquid sample from the sample bottle. Without the risk of spillage or contamination. Applications for this system can be found in plant laboratories. Furthermore the unique design offers a one handle operation by multiple valves. In addition, the nitrogen purge not only assists in driving the liquid out of the sample bottle, but also cleans the whole system including needle assembly and sample bottle.

How does it work?

  1. Provide a new septum on your sample bottle. Insert the bottle, with cap and septum into the sleeve. Put the special bottle retaining clip in place and turn the thumb screw until the bottle is fixed in the sleeve.
  2. Turn the sleeve upside down. Fix the special bottle retaining clip in the terry clips. Turn the handle to the “recovery” position, allowing the inert gas to drive the liquid out of the sample
bottle to the process-out connection. This position can be held for any required time.
  3. Turn the handle to the “vent” position allowing the sample bottle to depressurise.
  4. Turn the handle to the “off” position and turn the sleeve back to the normal position. Unfix the
thumb screw, remove the bottle retaining clip and pull the bottle out from the sleeve. The septum
    reseals automatically.

A simple way to return used samples back to the process without spills and additionally without emissions. Safe for the operator. Safe for the lab and additionally great for the environment.  Costs in disposing of samples can also be reduced.  So if you take samples of potentially hazardous liquids and need a great stand alone solution for the safe disposal of these samples then look no further than the Dopak sample recovery system.

5. SAMPLE CYINDER EMPTYING SYSTEMSIndustrial Sampling

The Cylinder Emptying System empty a cylinder containing (Liquefied) Gas without the risk of spillage or contamination.
