Stanag 3756 Coupling

MannTek dry disconnect hose couplings certified to Stanag 3756 are available in sizes from ¾” up to 6” available in a variety of materials to suit your process media. Stanag 3756 coupling products are self sealing design to guarantee high levels of safety and fast connection and disconnection of your flexible hose.Stanag 3756 coupling

Dry disconnect couplings from MannTek are certified to Stanag 3756. They are easy to handle with just two positions.  Push and turn to give product flow, turn and pull to close flow for a dry break. Much simpler than all other hose connections and much quicker than flange connections.

As the MannTek couplings are dry-break couplings (Certified to Stanag 3756) there is no need to drain the pipe  prior to disconnection, saving time and also improving operator safety and reducing spillages and reducing emissions.

Spillages are eliminated and this is demonstrated in this VIDEO

These Stanag 3756 couplings are available as standard with BSP- and NPT threads in sizes 1″ (DN 25) to 6″ (DN 150).

The couplings are supplied in two parts…a hose unit and tank unit.  both are available in flanged connections (DIN, ANSI, TW, TTMA, EN 1092-1:2001).

A variety of materials are available to suit your process media, typical materials available include; Aluminium, Brass/Gunmetal, Stainless Steel, Hastelloy C and PEEK. The soft seals within the couplings are also available in a variety of materials to suit your process media including; FPM (Viton®), EPDM, Chemraz®, Kalrez®, NBR (Nitrile).

The Stanag 3756 coupling is available with maximum working pressures as follows;

  • MWP PN 10 / 16 / 25
  • MAWP 150 / 300 psi

The great benefit of using a MannTek DDC is ‘selectivity’.  The lugs on the coupling can be supplied in such a way to physically prevent the wrong tank unit and hose unit being connected together – improved safety beyond doubt.
