Elaflex hoses have produced a new 44-page brochure ‘Chemical & Pharma’.
Besides detailed information about the new evolutionary ELAPHARM hose, it gives an overview about all their chemical and pharmaceutical hoses. Also included is an extensive range of fittings, with special coatings.
Mann Tek DDCouplings which are interchangeable with other brands such as TODO and Avery are also available in PEEK material.
At the Achema 2012 Elaflex presented the current development stage of their brand new hose assemblies ELAPHARM® to the DIN 26055-3 Standard.
The FDA-conforming, smooth PTFE liner is homogeneously connected with the hose construction. The result is a superior combination of flexibility, kinking and pressure/vacuum resistance.
Mind the Gap! …
…ELAPHARM hose is offered as an electrically conductive full ‘OHM’ hose and as an electrically isolating ‘I’ version. With swaged end fittings there are several other options, including a “free low-no gap” version with flared out liner. This means there is no inside gap between the ferrule and liner. Elaflex produce their own assemblies with short lead times.
Samples for test installations are available on request. Serial production will start beginning of 2013.
Also at Achema was an extensive range of Safety break couplings with full-bore connections.
As standard Elaflex use for hose assemblies clamp type safety couplings. These are either of the bolt or pinned-hinged version.
Rubber Expansion Joints were also presented including the complete ERV product range. Elaflex now also offer custom designed expansion joints produced by partner REIFLEXA.
Mann Tek. Dry Disconnect Couplings (DDC) and Safety Breaks (SBC) for a wide range of industrial applications have also been shown.
